Responsible Market Leader in Essential Oils
doTERRA recruits their expertise into a Global Botanical Network and, in so doing, responsibly supports thousands of jobs around the world.
Testing & Purity
The more pure the essential oil, the more powerful the results. Many essential oils available to purchase are not pure. Often, they contain fillers or other elements that dilute and alter the purity, thus diminishing the healthful qualities of the oil. In order to guarantee that the oils you use are pure, doTERRA and a team of highly skilled professionals formulated a successful testing procedure that qualifies doTERRA oils as uniquely pure and free of contaminants. This quality protocol is called CPTG Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade.®
During the CPTG Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade process, each batch of oils is subjected to extensive and rigorous testing that ensures the purity, potency, and consistency of the essential oils. You can be confident that you are receiving the highest quality essential oils, and that our effective standard testing methods are created with you and your loved ones in mind.
Farming & Potency
Another crucial element in providing a quality essential oil is guaranteeing that there is maximum potency. For an essential oil to obtain a strong potency, the plant it originates from must be grown in the right environment. When plants are grown in optimal soil, temperature, and climate, they produce a higher quality of potency in the essential oil.
To maintain this level of potency, doTERRA networks with experienced farmers around the world that intimately know how to grow plants in their native environment. This process is called sourcing. The sourcing process ensures that plants are taken care of properly and harvested at the proper stage by growers who have generations of harvesting knowledge. Once the plants reach their prime, they are then gathered and carefully distilled by artisans, making oils that are potent, consistent, and pure.

dōTERRA‘s quality standard for essential oils, Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade® (CPTG), exceeds industry standards. How long does my doTERRA wholesale membership last?
Membership lasts one year from the date of enrolling. After one year doTERRA will offer to renew your membership at $25 and you will receive a free bottle of peppermint essential oil. If you decide to non-renew your membership, simply don’t purchase any oils in your account after your first year is complete.
Can I purchase a kit after my enrollment?
You can purchase an enrollment kit after you become a member but if you plan to become a member and want the products in the kit we recommend starting with the enrollment kit because it will save you more money. Remember the $35 membership fee is waived with any enrollment kit and the price for the enrollment kit is less then if you were to ala-carte order the same oils later.
Should I choose Wholesale Customer or Wellness Advocate when setting up my account?
The wholesale customer account is the most popular and the majority of our members just want the products at a reduced rate.
